Music and Song Writing

Music is one of the things in my life that I have to have with me, whether I am listening to my favorite music while I am walking or maybe I am listening to music right now as I write this blog. Some day listen to the lyrics of the song and listen to the story that each song is telling you.. Some songs are talking about letting go of a love in hopes that particular lover will return, some songs are about finding your soul and finding your way and talking to God. Some songs are even about life and maybe the song writer or singer is telling a story of something that happened in their lives and they want to relate it to the listeners.

I have recently only started to write a tad bit of music and I have no..zip..zilch music experience but my music writing and even my poetry writing comes from the heart, so I try to fill my songs that I write with my emotions and add my depth of how I am feeling when I am writing and I use songs as inspiration to help guide in my writing of my songs! Oh I know I am just a novice in this endeavor to write songs, but I want to share with you one of my songs I recently wrote. It is called Hey Hey Love is a blooming

As I go along I come clean I write this song,

A song about you and me,
I know that there is day a coming,
A day when it will be just ya and me,
I will be able to say how much I love you,
And that day will come when I can hold you,

And you know that I will do anything just for you,
Hey Hey, you know how much I care for you,
Hey Hey, there is a love a blossoming,

Like the sweetpeas flowering in the sun,
Someday your gonna see how much you mean to me,
There is a day when you are going to look back,
And wonder why oh it took you so long,

poems..song and life..

Today I am adding another poem to my blogging because I like to write poems and songs in my spare time. I have had my share of ups and downs in life, but I feel I am on the right track to becoming the person I want to be. I simply have to have faith and stay happy..Happiness comes from within.

Some of my blogs may be nothing more than LOA quotes or even favorite YouTube songs and funny stuff. Some of it may even be just musings about being a single parent and learning to deal with fatherhood and being Mr Mom and all of that stuff..I plan on adding more poems from my upcoming new book and more songs in the future!!

This poem is entitled The Lady in the Moon!!

The lady in the moon is so bright,
she looks to the stars and watches over the night,
The man in the moon sits there eating cheese, having fun in the sun,

She sees our dreams and sprinkles them with fairy dust and smiles at us,
She takes our dreams and lifts them up to the angels that take them away,
Brightening our hopes and dreams for a brighter day,

The lady in the moon takes our hand and guides us to place where we belong,
Where dreams and aspirations are so strong,
Come and play come and play with the fairies dust,

The children play as if to say,
Live life to the fullest,
Each and every day,

There are no boulevard of broken dreams,
The lady in the moon always sees what is best for you and me,
She sings a lullybye, making sure we dont cry,keeping our spirit high,

She sets our world free into the light,
She is beautiful, she is ever so strong,
She is the lady in the moon,

Shining and beaming down her love for you and me!
Watch for the lady in the moon,
She is watching over you and me
